Women of Culture and BreakBread World are igniting a deeper conversation over a delicious meal on Earth Day!

Join us for an Earth Day BreakBread Experience in New York City

Tuesday, April 22nd, 6-8:30 PM
At a private residence in Chelsea

What is Women of Culture?

Women of Culture is an intergenerational membership-based community that helps women in the New York area learn about and experience the many facets of the city’s rich cultural landscape while also connecting more deeply with one another.

We are excited to collaborate with our friend, Alex Harper, the Founder of Women of Culture!!

At intimate tables of 6, we explore a carefully crafted Earth Day inspired prompt:

In the book The Hidden Life of Trees, they talk about how through complicated underground fungal networks, trees send nutrients or in some cases, sugar, to trees who need it.

For you, bring a story or a scenario where underground sugar networks are running in the background of your life or community. And imagine what it would look like to radically share more sugar?

An Art-ful Talk

We’ll begin with a brief tour of host Elana Sapir’s nature-inspired art collection, as well as an intro by Nikolina Kovalenko, whose Tree Of Life painting is on view

BreakBread, led by Martha and John

Then the evening will be handed off to the Cofounders of BreakBread World, Martha Williams and John Scilpote who will guide us into a soulful, food and gathering process.

Our newly hatched baby

We are excited to be using our BreakBread World Conversation Journey Deck – which was designed after holding hundreds of BreakBreads. Guests are also invited to purchase their own deck at a deeply discounted price when signing up. The deck allows people to begin hosting their own deep, meaningful dinner gatherings easily and effortlessly.
